States May Now Extend Medicaid’s Spousal Protections to Same-Sex Partners


The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced it will now permit states to extend Medicaid long-term care protections long available to spouses of nursing home residents to same-sex domestic partners as well.

Veterans Health & Resource Faire; May 7 in Fremont



For Veterans and their families, on Saturday, May 7, 2011, there will be a Veterans’ Health and Resource Fair at the Niles Veterans Memorial Building located at 37154 2nd Street in Fremont CA.  Fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Lots of free resources for VETS.  Our firm will be hosting one-to-one discussions about Veterans Pension Benefits.  Admission is free.
